This request sought to establish "what assessment Sir Gus O'Donnell's (approx June 2007) review of intelligence made regarding the influence of "communications professionals", special advisers and politicians on the September 2002 Iraq dossier. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, this might include:

1. Any narrative account produced for the purpose of the review, referred to by the review or included in it;
2. The findings and/or conclusions of any report presented to the Prime Minister;
3. Any recommendations relating to the future public presentation of intelligence."

It was made on 1 May 2008, following correspondence with the office of Sir Gus (Cabinet Secretary). The review was announced by Gordon Brown, prior to becoming Prime Minister, in June 2007.
