John Williams' World at One interview

On BBC Radio 4's The World at One on 9 November 2006. John Williams was interviewed about the draft of the dossier that he produced on 9 September 2002. He sought to play down the significance of the draft, claimed that he would be happy for it to be released and, significantly, revealed that it was produced after the "planning" meeting on the morning of 9 September. This contradicted the government's claims to the Hutton Inquiry that it was established at that meeting that JIC chairman John Scarlett's "ownership" of the dossier ruled out spin doctor involvement in the drafting.
